GIVEUP AND BE THE VOICE FOR THE PLANET

What is Earth Hour?

People from more than 7000 cities across the globe are set to take a stand and raise their voice against biodiversity loss by celebrating Earth Hour on Saturday, 28 March 2020. In the last ten years, Earth Hour has become the largest voluntary grassroots environmental campaign in the world. As the planet continues to witness climate records being broken and the loss of biodiversity at an alarming rate, Earth Hour is mobilizing individuals, communities and organizations globally to do their part to help protect the planet we call home.

In the past decade, as global efforts to control climate change gained momentum, Earth Hour has helped bridge the gap between the grassroots and governments, taking conversations around conservation from conference rooms to living rooms in over 188 countries.

This year too, the drill is simple – switch off all non-essential lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on 28th March to be a part of Earth Hour. Remember to GIVEUP and be the voice for the planet. Because when you GIVEUP wasteful consumption you give back to nature and people. This is your Voice for The Planet!

In light of the present scenario we urge you to stay indoors to celebrate Earth Hour. You can enlist your support by:
