T R A N S P O R T

The transport sector is the 2nd largest contributor to carbon dioxide in India.Give up now.

Transport alone accounts for a third of the particulate matter pollution in the world. At the same time, the total number of vehicles on the roads in India is expected to nearly double by 2030. That means severe levels of air pollution and smog, making it directly into our bodies. According to the 2017 Global Burden of Disease, pollution is the fifth leading cause of death in the country, with around 1.1 million people dying prematurely each year in India, from diseases associated with pollution.

WE NEED TO CHANGE THIS. BY GIVING UP.

CHOOSE YOUR WAYS TO GIVE UP

MOTORISED
VEHICLES

Switch to public transport for at least a week. It will save you from the hassles of traffic and help cut down
on time.

SHORT
RIDES

Walk or cycle for trips less than a kilometre. It is not just great for the environment but beneficial for your health too.

DIESEL
VEHICLES

If you cannot give up on your car completely, give up on diesel vehicles and explore CNG options instead.

YOUR
CAR

Give up your car completely! Walk, cycle, take the bus or metro! It may not be easy, but worth the effort.
