Every year, hundreds of millions of people around the world switch off their lights for one designated hour to demonstrate a commitment to fighting climate change.
This year, Earth Hour takes place at 8:30 p.m. local time on March 25. There’s never been a more critical moment for the world to show solidarity for and a strong commitment to fighting climate change. By going dark, lets send the message that at Earth Hour, we'll turn up the dark and get loud about climate action.
And and and... when we turn off the lights, what better thing to do than stargazing?
So come with your telescopes, guitars, songs, poetry, mats, snacks and mosquito repellents, and let's observe the Earth Hour while gazing at our glorious summer sky!
Date: 25th March 2017
Time: 8:30 - 9:30 PM
Venue: Garden of Silence, Sukhna Lake, Chanḍigaṛh.
Earth Hour is the world’s largest, environmental grassroots movement in history, connecting hundreds of millions of people all over the planet.
